Is it possible for one company to block another company on the search engines?I just did a quick search on our 5 product categories again and we are doing great on three. We still are failing on two. Our competitor in those two product lines is killing us. It just does not make any sense that we can come up on page one for the other categories but not the ones they happen to be in. Especially since we have more content on our site for this product line than we do for our others. Is it possible for one company to block another company on the search engines?

Do internal links based on search phrases have an impact on Search Engine Optimization?I am curious about the links from site pages to site pages that you put into sites to help with SEO ..eg for iDC your robot does an automatic hyperlink for "leak testing" and "assembly and test" I think -- and similarly there's "laser die cutting" now for Spartanics..
I know one reason why we like it is for what I call "brochure" purposes-- ie to send people back to the base layer page for intro/background info..
but I know that's not why you wanted it and developed that code-- that you did it for SEO purposes..
question--
is it to help the page that's linked to become the top page from the site that gets picked up during organic searches for that term? or is it to make that page outdo the competitor top pages with thosse key phrases ? or other SEO reason?
